I have been a car person since grade school. One of my uncles had a 49 Mercury. (Chopped roof and no door handles) Pretty amazing to a six year old. I was hooked from that time on.

As a teen every penny I earned went into my cars. The first car I bought was a 56 Chevrolet for $25.00. I wasn't old enough to drive, so my mother drove it home. Gas was .33 cents a gallon.

 I bought and sold many cars in my teens. To name a few.... 66 olds 442, 63 Chevrolet Impala, 65 Chevrolet Impala convertible, 65 Mustang Fastback, 73 Ford Maverick Grabber. These were just a few. I lost track of the number of vehicles I have owned  in my thirties. I have slowed down a bit today. I own about 3 vehicles and 4 bikes and one scooter.

I bought a used mini bike at ten years of age for $20.00 from lawn money. I have kept a two wheeled vehicle since then. I cannot remember a time I didn't have a bike.

I assume that if most guys are like me their favorite site list goes on and on. I started developing web sites in 1999. I wrote a web page to use as my home page. Http://www.carlotservices.com  I listed sites that I visited often. Over time I listed topics that I used in the course of my business. I thought that if I found the site or information that others could benefit from the link as well. So that is how this web site started.

A couple of years ago , I realized that not only car dealers were using the site. The site was gaining popularity with the gen public as well. I had to look at this site in a different manner.

So a year ago, I incorporated new subjects and a new philosophy for this site. I trust that you will find something of value here and visit again. This sites contains information and links to find information on buying, selling and enjoying all types of vehicles.

I like bikes, cars and music. The automotive industry is in my blood. That's what you'll find here.
